Our church, Croisade Evangelique de Pecheurs D’Hommes in Haiti needed some repairs at the main entrance of the building. Therefore, Pastor Lemoine contacted us a few weeks ago to petition us who have traveled to Haiti in the past. He reminded us how we used to always bless them financially when we traveled to Haiti. Unfortunately, we have not traveled to Haiti since 2019 because of COVID-19 and the violence. Consequently and unintentionally, we did not participate in the annual fundraiser that they usually have In August when we were there. With the reminder, Elder Alice Gissendanner (Chair of Elevate Haiti Ministries, Inc. (EHM) Board) took the lead immediately and reached out to a number of people to share Pastor Lemoine’s thoughts and requests for support. As always, our travelers, board members and supporters stepped up and donated. I am happy to announce that we were able to raise $ 2300.
When I shared the news with Pastor Lemoine, he said, “Thank you my brothers and sisters for answering the clarion call. May God continues to bless you and elevate you and your family. It is good to know that we are all in this together.”
Elder Alice said, “I, along with Pastor Lemoine and the church, THANK YOU so much for your “love gift” especially during such troubling times as these. Only God can repay you for your generosity. God bless you richly.”
On behalf of EHM, thank you for everything you have done and continue to do. We appreciate you and pray that God continues to bless you and camp His Angels around you.
